Other reviews made mention of train noise. We had our granddaughter visiting us at the house and she absolutely loved them going by. It's not frequent. They do blow their horn briefly as they go by, but it never woke us in the night nor did it wake the baby. The sound machines in each room were effective. The house was clean, convenient, comfortable and provided us with a great place for our extended visit. The close proximity to the golf course was an added bonus for my hubby.

House was very nice and clean and stocked with everything you could need. Hannah was super responsive and helpful. Pool was beautiful, clean and my children loved it. Also a really good location - everything is a short drive and Trader Joes is super close!

Loved Hannah’s place! Felt homey and it was great space for the 4 of us. Hannah was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. This was one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in and home is also very nice, looks like the pictures and it is exactly as described. Great location and safe neighborhood, there is also lots to do and a few restaurants from walking distance. Beds are comfy. Great family Airbnb, will definitely stay again. Thank you Hannah!

This home was perfect for us as we were travelling with multiple families for an event downtown. The outdoor fenced area and pool created a great hangout area for the adults and the kids between events at McEuen Park. This home was 5 min from everything we needed in town as well, and overall just had a great experience over the long weekend. We would stay here again and recommend anyone else to as well.

Great location, adequate parkingHost was very prompt with replies to questions or anything that was needed. Easy to work with. Beautiful and clean. Only thing that would have been nice to have was patio furniture, there were 4 folding chairs but no table. We like to sit outside and play games and weren't able to. I assumed there would be an outdoor table. We were told in advance of the backyard construction which was helpful. The yard was fenced and it was wonderful to be able to include our family pup in our weekend. Thanks so much!

Hannah was an outstanding host — check-in was seamless and she was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. The location couldn’t be better: just off the freeway, steps from the Spokane River with gorgeous walking and biking trails, and an easy drive to both downtown and the lake. The house itself was exactly as described. Three bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, spacious bathrooms that easily accommodated our family of five, and a well-stocked kitchen with everything you’d need — quality cookware, a full coffee setup (drip pot AND Keurig, plus creamers), and all the little things that make a rental feel like home. We’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

I was very happy with my stay at this house on Rosalia. It’s in a safe, gated community. All the utilities at this house are updated so the showers get warm fast, there are solid plugs everywhere, usb plugs/charging stations on the end tables next to the beds. The tv service is great. The fireplace is beautiful. The furniture is quality and comfortable. Everything was really great. Thank you!

Hannah went above and beyond for us! My sister daughter and I stayed at her lovely home after I had surgery. Hannah helped us with an early check in, and a late checkout as things kept changing due to surgery. As a group of women we felt safe in this gated community. We felt right at home with all the amenities that you could ever need! I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend for anyone staying in the area!

Hannah and her husband were so friendly and always available to us especially late at night when there was a faulty alarm going off. They sent help right away and made us feel safe. They then recommended wonderful places in town to take our small children and allowed for an hour later checkout time to make things easier for us. Wonderful hosts!

This was the best AirBNB experience we’ve ever had! All of the instructions were very clear, the house was in a very central location, and the house was very well-stocked. The house had everything we needed to cook meals, including cooking oils and spices, there was enough coffee pods for all 4 of us to have coffee every day of our stay, and there was enough toilet paper and trash bags to accommodate our stay as well. The host was very communicative and even reminded us to take the trash out the night before trash day. Definitely would stay in this home again!

The house was a nice quiet place to return to after a day out. The fully stocked coffee drawer and cooking spices made the stay even more enjoyable. I was able to do remote work at the desk in the primary suite as well. Overall it was a great stay and I will definitely stay here again if/ when I’m in the area!

This was one of the best airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Our family enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, walking to the water front, and more.

Perfect place to crash for a few hours before waking up at 2:00am to leave to get to Spokane airport by 4:00am for our flight out (instead of leaving from our other airbnb near Sandpoint).

Gated City Retreat: Walk to Riverstone & Trails

This property is a fantastic contrast to your golf retreat—it’s all about urban proximity, privacy, and being "centrally located." Since this one is in a gated community, we want to emphasize the peace of mind and the convenience of being so close to Riverstone.

Here is the "Hannah" version for your direct booking site:

Gated City Retreat: Walk to Riverstone & Trails

Tagline

Quiet Privacy Meets Downtown Convenience. “A gated haven with a chef’s kitchen, DreamCloud comfort, and the best of CDA just minutes away.”

Short Description (Warm & Personal)

I’m Hannah, and I’m so excited to welcome you to this peaceful retreat tucked inside one of Coeur d'Alene’s most convenient gated communities. If you’re looking for a quiet home base that’s still just an 8-minute walk to my favorite local caffeine fix at DOMA Coffee or a quick bike ride on the Centennial Trail, you’ve found it.

As a local owner, I believe your vacation should be stress-free from the moment you arrive. You’ll have plenty of room for the whole group (sleeping up to 8!), including a primary suite with a dedicated office space for those "work-from-anywhere" days. Like all my homes, the focus here is on quality rest—every bedroom features DreamCloud premium memory foam mattresses and blackout curtains.

The heart of this home is the kitchen. Whether you’re a serious home cook or just want to whip up a family breakfast, you’ll find it "exceptionally stocked." I’ve provided everything from an Instant Pot and Rice Maker to a full collection of bartending tools and spices.

When you aren't out exploring Riverstone or Downtown CDA (both just 5 minutes away!), you can relax by the fireplace or enjoy the fully fenced, pet-friendly yard. I live and work right here in town, so I’m always available to ensure your stay is perfect!

Who We Are

Founder and Lead Curator

Hi! I’m Hannah, your local host here in Coeur d’Alene. Several years ago, I traded the fast pace of the city for the mountains of Northern Idaho, and I haven’t looked back. My background as a nurse deeply influences how I host: I believe that true luxury is found in the details and in feeling genuinely cared for.

As the founder of CDAstay, I personally curate, stock, and maintain every home to ensure it meets my 'sparkling clean' and 'perfectly prepared' standards. I’m not just a manager; I’m your local host. Whether it’s ensuring the kitchen is well stocked or sharing the hidden CDA trails and cafés that only locals know, my goal is to make your stay effortless and unforgettable. Welcome to Coeur d’Alene.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I book directly through your website instead of Airbnb or VRBO?
When you book here, you are booking directly with me—Hannah! By cutting out the big corporate platforms, you avoid their extra service fees, which usually saves you 10-15% on your total stay. Plus, you get a direct line to a local owner who knows the properties inside and out. It’s the best way to get the best price and the most personalized service.
What are you check-in and check-out times?
To ensure my cleaning team has enough time to make the house perfect for your arrival, our standard check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Because I live and work locally, I always try to be as flexible as possible! If the home is ready early or there isn't a back-to-back booking, I am happy to accommodate early arrivals or late departures at no extra cost. However, if you need a guaranteed early check-in or late check-out, a small fee may apply to coordinate the cleaning schedule. Please reach out to me directly to check availability!
Are parties or events allowed?
Because I operate my homes in quiet, residential neighborhoods and to stay compliant with my professional insurance, I do not allow formal events or 'parties' (such as weddings, organized receptions, or ticketed events). However, I want you to enjoy your stay to the fullest! If you are a group of friends or family getting together to celebrate a birthday, a reunion, or just a weekend away, you are more than welcome. My only ask is that you keep the 'human touch' in mind—be respectful of the neighbors regarding noise levels, especially late at night, and treat the home as if it were your own.
Are the hot tubs and pools open year-round?
The hot tubs are open and ready for a soak every single day of the year! There is nothing quite like watching the Idaho snow fall from the warmth of the tub. My two heated pools are seasonal and generally open from beginning of April through end of October, depending on the Coeur d'Alene weather. If you are booking a shoulder-season stay and the pool is a 'must-have,' just reach out to me and I can give you a better idea of the opening/closing dates for that year!
Are the kitchens fully stocked?
Yes, and I take immense pride in this! One of the most common pieces of feedback I receive from my guests is how much they love my kitchens. As a local mom who loves hosting, I make sure my kitchens are stocked with more than just the basics—I want you to feel like you’re cooking in your own home. I try to anticipate everything you might need, from quality cookware to those thoughtful extra touches. If there is a specific small appliance or tool you need for a special meal and you don’t see it listed, please just ask! Since I live right here in the Coeur d'Alene area, I can usually source it and have it ready in the kitchen by the time you arrive.
How do I get into the property?
For your convenience and security, all of my homes are equipped with electronic keyless locks. No need to worry about picking up keys or keeping track of them during your stay! I will send you a unique, guest-specific door code a few days prior to your check-in date. This code will be active for the duration of your stay, ensuring you have easy and secure access from the moment you arrive.
How do you handle pool and hot tub maintenance?
Cleanliness and safety are my top priorities, especially when it comes to the water! I employ a certified pool and hot tub technician who personally services the water chemistry and filtration systems between every single guest stay. Because I want you to have a crystal-clear, worry-free experience, my technician also stops by every other day for stays lasting longer than two days. These visits are quick and unobtrusive, and you do not need to be present for them. I have carefully arranged my properties so that my technicians have exterior access to the pool and spa areas, meaning they never have to enter the house. You can simply relax and enjoy your privacy while we ensure everything is perfect behind the scenes!
Do you allow pets?
As a dog lover who travels everywhere with my two terriers, Lola and Luna, I know that a vacation isn’t complete without the whole family! I am proud to offer pet-friendly accommodations at all of my properties, most of which include fenced yards for your pups to enjoy. To keep our homes sparkling clean for every guest, a pet fee (determined by the property size and set by my cleaning team) will be applied to your stay. Please note that due to insurance requirements, certain breed restrictions do apply. You can find specific details and fee amounts in the house rules or property description for each listing.
What is the cancelation policy?
I understand that sometimes plans change! To give me enough time to re-book the home for other travelers, I offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to your arrival date. If you need to cancel within the 14-day window before your stay, I will provide a full refund of the cleaning fee and a 50% refund of the nightly rate. Because I am a local owner managing these homes with a dedicated local crew, this helps cover the gap in our schedule while still returning a portion of your investment to you.
